I am a preacher’s kid who found his own calling in serving the local church. My wife, Jessica, and I have been married since 2010 and are raising our two children, Riley and Silas, right here in Maysville. We love this community and believe there is no better place to call home.
I have served Central Baptist as Lead Pastor since 2018. Before coming to Maysville, I served in youth and children’s ministry, which gave me a heart for the next generation. I hold a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I received the Ellis Fuller Award for Distinction in Church Ministry.
Beyond the pulpit, I serve as a chaplain for the Maysville Police Department and as Moderator of the Bracken Association of Baptists. I believe ministry shouldn’t stop at the church doors. My goal is to walk alongside you, whether you are celebrating a victory or navigating a crisis, helping you build a faith that lasts.
At Central Baptist, we believe leadership begins with service. Our deacons are faithful men set aside to model servant leadership and care for the practical needs of our church family. Following the pattern of the New Testament, they assist the pastor in ministry, visit the sick, and ensure that no member of our community is overlooked.
